We are providing critical support to approximately 43,000 persons in the Abyei Administrative Area through an integrated Food Assistance, Supplementary Feeding Programme, and Early Recovery initiative.

In partnership with the World Food Programme, Hope Africa South Sudan is implementing this humanitarian response aimed at strengthening food security, nutrition, and community resilience among vulnerable populations.

The programme targets internally displaced persons (IDPs) from Abienhom, returnees, and host communities living within the Abyei region. It is made possible through the generous support of General Food Distribution donors, whose continued contributions remain vital in sustaining life-saving assistance.

In line with its commitment to gender equity, the initiative places strong emphasis on supporting women and girls, while also providing essential nutritional assistance to children to address malnutrition and improve overall wellbeing.
