Hope Africa South Sudan is a Humanitarian National NGO registered by Relief and Rehabilitation
Commission, (RRC) in 2018 under Chapter 3, Section 10 of NGOs Act 2016 with Reg. No 2341.It was
established in 2026 by South Sudanese who felt the effects of the ongoing conflicts which resulted into
dire humanitarian needs to the vulnerable communities in South Sudan.

Hope Africa South Sudan is striving for resilience and impacting lives. We achieve this by: –

Fighting poverty through integrated humanitarian and development interventions that strengthen food security,
sustainable livelihoods, social protection systems, and economic resilience among vulnerable communities.

• Building stronger and hunger-free communities through climate-smart agriculture, improved agricultural inputs,
  modern farming practices, food systems governance, nutrition-sensitive programming, and sustainable natural
  resource management.
• Promoting community health, nutrition, and WASH/School WASH (SWASH) interventions to improve the wellbeing
  of children, women, and vulnerable populations through access to safe water, sanitation, hygiene, and essential health
  services.
• Supporting quality education through the provision of scholastic materials, strengthening school governance
  structures such as SMCs and PTAs, teacher capacity development, and advocacy for inclusive and girl child
  education.
• Creating awareness and delivering interventions on public health issues including HIV/AIDS, STDs, maternal and
  child health, nutrition, mental health, and disease prevention through community outreach and health promotion
  campaigns.
• Empowering youth and young women through Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET),
  entrepreneurship development, business incubation, financial literacy, and livelihood skills for self-reliance and
  economic empowerment.
• Strengthening protection systems through community awareness, advocacy, and response mechanisms addressing
  child protection, Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV), child rights abuses, safeguarding, and psychosocial
  support services.
• Promoting peacebuilding, social cohesion, conflict mitigation, and conflict resolution initiatives that foster stable,
  inclusive, and resilient communities, especially in fragile and conflict-affected areas.
• Creating platforms for youth engagement and peaceful interaction through debates, sports competitions, public
  lectures, cultural exchanges, panel discussions, and community dialogues that encourage leadership and civic
  participation.
• Advancing anticipatory action planning, climate resilience, disaster risk reduction and management (DRRM),
  environmental conservation, and Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) initiatives that help communities prepare for,
  respond to, and recover from climate-related shocks and emergencies.
• Delivering timely humanitarian assistance and response interventions for refugees, IDPs, returnees, host communities,
  and other vulnerable populations through integrated emergency assistance, early recovery, and resilience
  programming.
• Implementing cross-border programming and regional collaboration initiatives that promote peace, trade, food
  security, protection, migration management, and shared resilience among border communities.
• Strengthening the institutional and operational capacity of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), community-based
  organizations, and local actors through training, mentorship, governance support, resource mobilization, and
  organizational development initiatives.
