HASS has implemented peacebuilding and governance programming in partnership with international actors including Democracy International with support from USAID, delivering community sensitization on the Revitalized Agreement on the Resolution of the Conflict in South Sudan (R-ARCSS) in Juba
County, Central Equatoria State. The organization has strengthened social cohesion through the Peace and Community Cohesion (PaCC) project implemented with UNDP and KOICA in Aweil East and Aweil Centre, Northern Bahr el Ghazal State, using social, cultural, and economic entry points to reduce
tensions and promote peaceful coexistence.
In addition, HASS implemented transitional justice and Women, Peace and Security (WPS) programming in Mangateen PoC, Gudele, Juba urban areas and Aweil East County in partnership with UN Women and the Government of the Netherlands, focusing on access to justice for survivors of SGBV, community
reconciliation, and women’s economic empowerment.
